Google Hires On Firebase To Further Advancement Of The Google Cloud Platform

The cloud in many ways has shaped and defined the way we use many devices these days. From the way we store files to the way we share links and data. Google’s cloud platform consists of many moving parts, and they have been steadily growing their efforts to better the cloud experience for users of Google services as well as the developers that create for them. As part of this, Google has just announced that they have acquired Firebase, and that Firebase will be joining on at the Google Cloud Platform team. The reasoning for this is as Google states, is because developers will have an easier time building mobile and web apps that store and sync data if they use Firebase, and mobile and web apps are something that Google is heavily invested in now with ChromeOS and Android as well as iOS.

Google believes that Firebase joining the Google Cloud Platform will allow for developers to have access to the best end-to-end platform for mobile application development, and as end users we’re all for a better platform for developers to bring us even more impressive and engaging applications that can enhance the experience we have on our mobile devices. Google mentions that they’ll be live demonstrating their new Firebase integration and features at an event on November 4th called Google Cloud Platform Live, and it’ll be easy to join and view all that goes on as Google has made it simple to either register for the event in person or register to watch a livestream if you’re not able to make it to the actual event.

Firebase has 110,000 developers that take part in their services, and joining on with Google will give the Firebase team a way to take things to the next level, by doing “much more, much faster” thanks to the clout and skills of Google’s engineering team as well as Google’s resources and infrastructure. While all of this means great things for Firebase, Google, and the developers that Firebase is already working with, it also could mean some really great things for anyone looking to pick up a job and wants to further the advancement of what Google and Firebase are doing, as Firebase states that they’re currently hiring.
