Oppo has been all over the news recently. The company is holding an event on October 15th in Singapore and is expected to announced Oppo N1’s successor at that event. That device will allegedly be called Oppo N3 for some reason, Oppo will jump over the N3 branding, hopefully we’ll get an explanation regarding that. Oppo N1 has definitely promoted this China-based company outside China, not only because of the rotating camera on top of the device but because of the build quality and premium feel it offered. We’ve seen many leaks when it comes to the Oppo N3, two renders leaked, the first one was rather odd and non-realistic (although who knows, perhaps Oppo wants to go with that one) while the other one looked quite nice. Other that, reports have been saying that the device will sport premium materials build and a new cooling system made by Oppo.
This new report says that the device will feature VOOC rapid charging just like the Oppo Find 7 did before it. Oppo Find 7 needs only 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 75% and that’s the fastest charging smartphone we’ve encountered that has launched to the market. Oppo N3 will reportedly make use of VOOC fast charging technology as well, it is unknown whether it will be the same technology used in the Oppo Find 7 or will this company try to improve it further, either way this will be a great feature to have. Rumors suggest that the device will sport a 5.9-inch 1080p display just like the N1. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 processor and 3GB of RAM are also expected to be a part of the N3 package. Please note that these are all rumors at this point, we will quite probably see this device released on October 15th though, so everything will, hopefully, be revealed then. This device looks quite interesting thus far though, if rumors are correct this will be a great phablet which will sport premium build, be extremely light and will have a great camera and extremely fast charging along with some top-notch specs. Sounds great? It does to me, everything except the screen size, but that’s just me, many people appreciate a huge smartphone.
