Samsung Galaxy F leaked in ‘glowing gold’, two gold models in the works?

Galaxy-F-glowing-gold

After tons of rumors and speculation about a “more premium” Galaxy S5, last week a more advanced version of the handset did in fact debut, though it rocked neither the Galaxy S5 Prime or Galaxy F branding. Instead, Samsung unveiled the GS5 LTE-A, a Korean-only version of the handset with LTE Advanced support, a Snapdragon 805 CPU, 3GB RAM and a QHD display.

You’d think that the arrival of the GS5 LTE-A would put the nail in the coffin for the Galaxy F (aka GS5 Prime) rumors, but apparently not. There continues to be talk about the possibility of a more premium international version of the GS5 that will likely feature the same specs as the LTE-A model, albeit with a different name and possibly with a slightly refreshed exterior. And now we have yet another leaked image of the device, courtesy of Evan Blass (known better as Evleaks).

The new color is reportedly called “glowing gold”, and will apparently be one of two golden shades offered, as last Monday @evleaks also revealed the Galaxy F with a “perfect golden” hue. Apparently Samsung must love gold, or at least it thinks its customers will.

For now we still aren’t for certain when or even if the Samsung Galaxy F will arrive, though the continued presence of leaks and rumors at least lends a little credence to the idea that the phone could arrive sooner rather than later. What do you think, like the idea of a rebranded, slightly more powerful version of Samsung’s flagship or do you feel that creating such a handset is unnecessary?
