Google has unveiled the Motorola-made Nexus 6 back in October 2014. This device is shipping with the newest version of Google’s OS, Android 5.0 Lollipop. The device has been on sale for quite some time now, and it has even hit China in January, but under a different name. Motorola has unveiled the Moto G, Moto X and Moto X Pro (aka Nexus 6) in China back in January, and by doing that returned to the Chinese market. This was actually kind of logical considering Motorola Mobility is now owned by Lenovo, a China-based company, so it was just a matter of time before it happens. These devices have been available for quite some time, except for the Moto X Pro, which is available for purchase starting today.

The Motorola Moto X Pro features a 5.96-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) AMOLED display along with 3GB of RAM for all your multitasking needs and 32 or 64GB of non-expandable internal storage. Motorola’s phablet is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor clocked at 2.7GHz which comes with an Adreno 420 GPU for graphics. 13-megapixel OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) camera is located on the back of this phablet, while there’s a 2-megapixel shooter available up front. The Nexus 6 comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop pre-installed, while a non-removable 3,220mAh battery is also a part of the package here. Google’s phablet measures 159.3 x 83 x 10.1mm and weighs 184 grams while it comes with 4G LTE connectivity. The Moto X Pro is made out of metal, and it’s basically the first premium Nexus handset thus far. The device resembles other devices from the Motorola’s Moto line, both in general shape and the logo on the back.

The Motorola Moto X Pro is available in 32 and 64GB versions in China, the 32GB version will cost you 4,299 Yuan ($694), while you’ll have to splash out 4,699 Yuan ($756) if you want to get the 64GB version. The device is now available for purchase on Motorola’s official website and through Jingdong Mall and Suning, Chinese retailers. The pricing is quite steep, but Motorola’s phablet will certainly attract some consumers.
