Samsung and HTC have announced their new flagships earlier this month, and it’s LG’s turn now. This Korean tech giant will announce their new flagship, the LG G4, next month. The Head of LG Mobile has said that the company intends to unveil the LG UX 4.0 before the actual device announcement, which probably means we’ll get a separate event for that, which is interesting. Anyhow, Cho Juno has also said that the G4 will be radically different than its predecessor. This could mean a number of things actually, but according to the latest available renders, the G4 will be ever so slightly curved. The device might also sport metal build, and it seems like its UI will see some big changes as well.

While we’re waiting for LG to launch the device, we might as well take a look at some LG G4 concept renders. Keep in mind that these images aren’t official by any stretch of the imagination. That being said, you’ll notice 5 images in the gallery down below, each of these renders represents a design by a different designer. The first render is made by Ivo Marić, and that device is visibly curved and it sports a metal frame. Leather back is also a part of the picture here, and its camera also protrudes on the back. The device seems really premium though. The second image in the gallery shows us the G4 which sports front-facing speakers and a plastic shell. We’ve actually already covered this concept separately, you can check it out here.

The third render portrays an unrealistically thin handset with really thin bezels. This concept comes from Giztimes, and it looks quite stunning because of its thinness. The design team also listed the specifications of their imaginatory G4. This handset sports 5.5-inch 4K display, 4GB of RAM and 32 or 64GB of internal storage. The Snapdragon 810 SoC is powering it up, Android 5.0 Lollipop comes pre-installed and a 3,500mAh battery is also a part of the package. 18-megapixel camera is located on the back, and a 3-megapixel snapper is available up front. The fourth image down below shows a really sleek-looking device which also comes with front-facing speakers. This design also portrays a touch-sensitive strip on the back, for volume, scrolling and zooming, which is interesting. Snapdragon 808, 4GB of RAM, a 4,000mAh battery and a 5.7-inch QuadHD display are all part of this render. Same goes for a 16-megapixel OIS camera and LG’s Laser Autofocus.

The last image in the gallery shows a G4 concept with chamfered edges, this render is made by Jermain Smit. This smartphone sports a plastic rear and a metal frame, and it also features front-facing speakers. The buttons on the back look kind of odd and non-characteristic, and the camera above them is huge, it also has a yellow ring around it which makes it stand out. Snapdragon 805, 3GB of RAM, 5.5-inch 2K display and a 16-megapixel OIS camera are listed for this device, amongst other specs.
