Global rollout for the LG G Flex 2 commences

LG G Flex 2 DSC07595

LG has announced that they’ve started the global rollout for the LG G Flex 2. What does that mean? It means select retailers and carriers in select markets will soon receive a shipment of the phones to begin selling at some point in the near future.

Technically LG only needs to ship the phone to carriers and retailers in a couple of different countries to be considered a “global” rollout, so we wouldn’t expect to see it made available far outside of South Korea in immediate fashion. That said, they did confirm that the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, France, Germany and the U.K would be among the first to get the phone. Those in parts of North and South America, Europe and Asia will see it in the weeks following that.

Sprint is already confirmed to be launching the device on March 13th, and they’ve started pre-sales for those who want to make sure they get one on that date. We’ll have to wait for word from other carriers, but we imagine Sprint won’t be the only carrier in the United States to offer it. Getting one? Let us know in the comments below, and join us at the LG G Flex 2 section at AndroidForums.com to talk about it!
