Fly Mobile Unveiled Two Octa-Core Smartphones And An Entry-Level Device In India

Fly Mobile, a company founded in the UK, has just released a couple of new smartphones in India. Fly Qik and Qik+ are company’s newly-launched low-mid range handsets for the Indian market, while Fly Mobile has also unveiled the low-end Fly Snap handset. Anyhow, let’s check see what these handsets have to offer, shall we.


The more powerful of the two is the Fly Qik+. This handset features a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) IPS display along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card up to 32GB). This handset is powered by MediaTek’s MT6592 octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz which ships with a Mali 450-MP4 GPU for graphics. 13-megapixel snapper is located on the back of this device (LED flash included), while a 5-megapixel shooter can be found on the front side of this device. Android 4.4 KitKat comes pre-installed on this device, and we’re talking about a dual SIM handset here which offers 3G HSPA+ connectivity and ships with a 2,200mAh battery.


Fly Qik, on the other hand, sports a 4.5-inch 854 x 480 FWVGA IPS display, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of in-built storage (expandable via microSD card up to 32GB). This device is powered by the same chip listed in the paragraph above, the MediaTek MT6592. 8-megapixel camera is available on the back of this device and is flanked by an LED flash, while a 5-megapixel shooter can be found up front. The Fly Qik also offers 3G HSPA+ connectivity and dual SIM functionality, while it ships with a 2,000mAh battery.


The company has also introduced a low-end Fly Snap device which boasts a 4-inch WVGA display, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of expandable internal storage. 5 and 2-megapixel camera are also a part of the package, and the device is powered by MediaTek’s MT6582 quad-core chips clocked at 1.3GHz. Android 4.4 KitKat comes pre-installed here, and this device offers 3G connectivity and ships with a 1,500mAh battery.


The Fly Qik+ is priced at Rs. 6,999, Fly Qik will set you back Rs. 5,999 and the low-end Fly Snap costs Rs. 2,999. All of these devices are available exclusively from Snapdeal in India, in case you’re interesting in purchasing one of them.
