Xiaomi’s recently announced Redmi 2 is an aggressively priced budget device, featuring a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor, 1 GB of RAM, and a 720p 4.7-inch screen. It officially launched in Chinese markets for roughly $110, but trying to get one shipped to the US would be a headache. Fortunately, a Chinese website has started selling the device at a slight mark-up that will ship the device worldwide.
SPEMall is selling the unlocked device for $154.99 plus whatever it costs to get it shipped to your location. That’s still fairly cheap, especially considering the hardware on the device.
