If you are a fan of the Google Nexus range then you have probably endured a turbulent couple of weeks and months. First you had the launch of the Google Nexus 6 with its bigger screen and controversially bigger price tag. With the price tag so high (relatively speaking) it was believed that the Google Nexus 5 was perfectly positioned price-wise to be a middle priced device. This was assumed to be guaranteeing its survival in the future. Although, reports then came out that the Google Nexus 5 was reaching the end of its lifespan. In fact, it is now pretty much believed that the Google Nexus 5 will be no longer available to buy anywhere, once we reach the end of Q1 in 2015.

Following on from this, and if the news of the Nexus 5 dying a slow death was making you think about picking up one before they are gone. Then you probably also did not like the news that the red and white versions of the Nexus 5 are already gone. The Play Store will not be selling these anymore and instead you can only pick up the black version over the next couple of months at the $349.99 price tag. Well, if you were after a red Nexus 5 then don’t worry, you still can pick up through third party sites and it looks like Expansys are currently offering it at a good price.

You can now pick up the red Nexus 5 at Expansys for $319.99. That’s $30 off of the normal price of the black one and when remembering this one is no longer in production, this is a great price. If you want to take advantage of another great deal while you are there, it seems Expansys are also offering the LG Tone+ headset for $20 with any purchase. This is also another $30 off of its original selling price. If you were thinking of getting a Nexus 5 before they are gone then this is a great deal for an unlocked Nexus 5 which comes with a 5” Full HD display, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal stoarge and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor (clocking at 2.3GHz).
