Watch Eric Schmidt talk Google culture, new iPhones, innovation and more

eric schmidt TechCrunch

Google’s Eric Schmidt and Jonathan Rosenberg stopped by Bloomberg TV to promote their new book “How Google Works” and to talk about what makes Google so successful in a multitude of fields.

From the culture of Google, which Rosenberg describes as centered around “smart creatives,” to the company’s focus on innovation, to the relationships between Google and companies like Apple, Amazon, Samsung, or Alibaba, Schmidt and Rosenberg touch on a variety of topics through their talk.

Asked about the glowing reception of the new iPhones and the long lines around Apple stores, Schmidt, who was on Apple’s board of directors until Android came out, simply said “Samsung had these products a year ago.”

The whole 15-minute talk by these two long time Googlers is definitely worth watching. For more insight into our favorite company, Schmidt and Rosenberg’s book “How Google Works” is now available in the Play Store.
