Lately we’ve heard a lot about the iPhone 6 Plus bending in people’s pockets and such. Which is kinda funny, but also sad since most people just dropped $750+ down on that phone. However, the iPhone 6 Plus isn’t the first smartphone to suffer from bending. The iPhone 5 and 5S also had the issue, so did the HTC One M8, the Huawei Ascend Mate 7, and many other phones. So why is it such a big deal on the iPhone 6 Plus. Well they sold 10 million in the first weekend. So it’s going to get more attention. The issue here is that the frame isn’t as sturdy as something like the Moto X, or even the Galaxy Note 3. Which sucks, but I bet the iPhone 6S will have a stronger frame.
That brings us to our topic today. Mobile Fun emailed us this morning and let us know that their #BendGate repair kit is now available for the iPhone 6 Plus. Basically all it is, is a rolling pin. Like you’d use when cooking and such. Which makes it even funnier. This was launched solely at Apple’s expense and amusement. But it’s still pretty funny. Mobile Fun has plenty of other accessories for most flagship devices, if you are interested in picking up a case, battery pack or something else from them.
