Samsung Galaxy A3 Listing Pops Up On TENAA

Samsung basically started a new trend for its devices when the company introduced their Galaxy Alpha device back in August. With the introduction of Galaxy Alpha Samsung handset, Samsung finally left polycarbonate behind, at least partially. Plastic is most definitely still part of Samsung’s device, but with the addition of metal their devices feel far more premium. Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge devices which followed the Galaxy Alpha sure do feel more premium thanks to that metal that was added. We’ve seen reports which stated this Korea-based company plans on introducing a new line of devices based on the Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy A3, A5 and A7. Galaxy A7 showed up on Indian import/export site for research and development recently and Galaxy A5 details and images leaked a few days before that. The only one left is Galaxy A3 which showed up on TENAA (Chinese equivalent to FCC) today.

According to this TENAA (Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center) listing, Galaxy A3 will sport a 4.5-inch 960 x 540 AMOLED display and will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The device will come with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable internal storage. 8-megapixel camera will be located at the back of this device and a 5-megapixel shooter will be available on the front side of the device for all your selfie needs and what not. Galaxy A3 measures 130.1 x 65.5 x 6.9mm and weighs 112 grams.

Rumors say that the Galaxy A3 will be priced at around $350-$400 unlocked. Puzzle pieces are slowly but surely coming together when it comes to this new Galaxy A series of devices. We still don’t know when does Samsung plans to release these devices but I guess that will happen before Christmas, that’s just my guess though. Galaxy A3 definitely sports lower specs than A5, which means that the A7 will be the best specced out of these three devices.
