Karbonn has been really active lately. This India-based manufacturer has launched Sparkle V Android One smartphone this month in collaboration with Google and only a few days later we’ve seen Karbonn Titanium S10 unveiled. The latter is a mid-range device at the very best, it comes with a 5-inch 720p display, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card). 8-megapixel rear-facing and a 2-megapixel front-facing cameras are also included. This is a dual SIM device and it is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz (probably a MediaTek chip). Karbonn has something else to show us though.
Not even two weeks after the company has launched Titanium S10 device, Karbonn unveils their Titanium S20 offering. The device features a 4.5-inch display (resolution wasn’t mentioned in the press release), 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card). The device is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, press release doesn’t say which manufacturer we’re talking about here, but I guess it’s safe to assume this device is sporting MediaTek’s unit. 5-megapixel camera is located at the back of this device while there’s also a front-facing snapper, but the press release doesn’t say what kind exactly. 1600mAh battery is also a part of the package and the device comes with Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed. This is a dual SIM device and it comes with the usual array of sensors and connectivity options. Keep in mind that this is a 3G device, LTE is not available.

This device looks awfully similar to the S10 unit, but it is somewhat cheaper. You can get it exclusively from Amazon.in for Rs 4,999, as a reminder, S10 would cost you Rs 7990. We’re talking about really affordable handsets here, so no wonder their specifications aren’t as high as you’d like, they’re not meant to be. Karbonn has partnered up with Aircel to offer you a special data plan, you get 500MB of free data usage for the next three months if you decide to take them up on that offer.
