NFL has just released their new app for mobile devices that’ll allow you to keep better tabs on your favorite team this season. It’s called NFL Now, and its content proposition is pretty clear and simple: you pick your team, and the app spits out a video stream of news, highlights, updates and more regarding them.
Like the Green Bay Packers as much as I do? Select them as your favorite team, and you’ll get all the latest about Aaron Rodgers throwing laser-like throws in training camp, as well as unfortunate news like Don Barclay’s torn MCL. Signing into your fantasy account might feed you quick clips and info about the players on your list so you can know who to start, who to sit and who to drop or pick up. You’ll also be treated to some top notch NFL Films productions, which could include weekly countdowns, top 10 lists or historic documentaries.
The app apparently knows which videos you watch fully and which ones you skip, and will use that information to shape a profile about what you like and dislike watching. All you have to do is sit back and wade through content as your normally would and let the app do the rest of the heavy lifting.
It’s honestly not much different than downloading the regular NFL app or heading to NFL.com to search for and watch specific videos, but if all of the noise, stats, headlines and other distractions are daunting then this is where you want to be. Give it a go on your phone or tablet now by heading to the Google Play link below.
