LG has announced yet another variant of their LG G3 flagship smartphone. This new version is dubbed the LG G3 A and falls somewhere in between the LG G3 and the LG G3 Beat. The G3 A will come equipped with a 5.2-inch display running at 1920 x 1080 resolution powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor clocking in at 2.26 GHz. The G3 A will come with a little less memory, only 2 GB of RAM, but otherwise most of the specs are the same including a 13 MP rear camera with laser auto focus. LG says they have added some new software to this version that will give users some control over functions via wrist movements while holding the device.
It is not entirely clear, but the initial impression is that LG plans to make this version only available in South Korea starting some time later this month. They have announced it will be available through SK Telecom and that may be exclusive for at least a little while. The device will only be available in Titanium and White initially.
