Motorola is set to announce its best upcoming devices only a few weeks from now, on September 4th. Along with the Moto G2, Moto 360 and a bluetooth headset, we are also expecting a new Moto X. Previously rumored as the Moto X+1, this device is showing itself again in today’s leaks.

The Moto X+1′s front panel is the subject of multiple photographs leaked by hellomotoHK. The panel looks much like what we have seen in previous leaks, corroborating the rumored characteristics. The photos display what looks like a dual-speaker setup, with an obvious increase in size that can be further appreciated when compared with the current Moto X.

The screen is said to measure in at about 5.2 inches, which would be a healthy jump from the previous version’s 4.7-inch display. There is one major difference we find between these images and previous leaks, though. It seems the speaker cut-outs are much larger than what we have seen in the past.

Has Motorola decided to add bigger, better speakers to compete with HTC’s popular BoomSound speakers? The question is still up in the air, as no official announcements have yet come. Taking all these leaks and rumors with a grain of salt is the smartest decision, but do stay tuned for more details to come during the September 4th event.

As for other specs, rumors say the Moto X+1 should come with a Snapdragon 800 or 801 processor, 2 GB of RAM, a 1080p display, 32 GB of internal storage, 12MP/5MP cameras and a 2900 mAh battery. Not bad, if you ask us!
