Late last month, we got a chance to see the front panel of the Meizu MX4, which sported some of the thinnest bezels we have ever seen. Now today we are getting a better look at the phone.
As you can see, the MX4 is definitely taking design cues from the iPhone, but it also resembles the Xiaomi Mi 4. This photo is supposedly the “standard version” of the MX4, implying there will also be a higher-end model. The good news is that we can expect the same narrow bezels on this version.
Specs on this standard version include a display resolution of 1800 x 1080, 3 GB of RAM, and a MediaTek MT6595, which is likely to include four Cortex-A17 cores and four Cortex-A7 cores. It’s a big.LITTLE CPU so all 8 cores won’t run at the same time.
The higher-end model will include a display with a resolution of 2560 x 1536, and Samsung’s latest Exynos 5430, which is in the Galaxy Alpha.
We should see the MX4 next month at IFA.
