‘OK Google’ now works in 9 new languages, dialects, accents

The “OK Google” command on both Android and Chrome has been expanding in both use and languages lately, and today, Google has announced 9 new compatibles languages to activate the service. Hit the break for the full list:




  • German

  • English (now supports all accents / dialects)

  • Spanish (Spain and Mexico only)

  • French

  • Italian

  • Portuguese (Brazilian only)

  • Russian

  • Korean

  • Japanese


If you’re not seeing the update yet, it’s slowly rolling out so be patient.
