Fleksy Updates Keyboard Beta With 15 New Languages, Also Updates Fleksy For Gear Devices

Fleksy Shot 2

There are many third party keyboard apps out there, some of them very good but only a few being worthy of a spot among the best of the best. Fleksy keyboard beta for Android has been one of the front runners over the last year or so stealing away what could have been potential users of other big name third party keyboards like Swiftkey or Swype. Today Fleksy enhances their standing as one of the top third party keyboards that users can download to their Android devices with the latest update to the app, as well as an update to their Fleksy Messanger app for the Gear line of devices that run Tizen.

The latest update to Fleksy Keyboard beta brings in more language support, with an additional 15 new languages being added to the mix and totaling what is now over 35 languages being supported by the keyboard app. Fleksy says that the five following languages of Hebrew, Catalan, Croatian, Norwegian, and Romanian were the most requested among the Fleksy user community which is why they have chosen to add those as part of the 15 new languages now supported. Fleksy has also added support for English(UK), Brazilian Portuguese, French Canadian and Latin American Spanish. Fleksy will be targeting the international markets more in the future as it sees an opportunity to grow their app usage by doing so, and will be continuing to attempt at rapid expansion of more supported languages in future updates. Fleksy states that in the next update after this one they plan to add Arabic as another supported language as well as many others.

Fleksy also plans to be out of a beta status by the time the Fall season hits, at which point they have a goal of having over 40 languages supported, and as of now are on track to meet that goal. Fleksy keyboard beta is not the only app by Fleksy getting treatment today though, their recently announced and launched Fleksy messenger app for Gear devices is also getting some love with an update as well. The update is mostly about bug fixes and improvements to performance, but also adds support for the original Galaxy Gear devices that now run Tizen. Getting the new language support is easy as all you have to do is join the Fleksy beta here. The Fleksy Messenger update can be obtained by entering Samsung Apps and downloading it there.
