It’s been a little while now since we heard anything on the Moto X+1 front, and while it’s pretty obvious that Motorola is looking to prepare a follow-up device they’re not done with the Moto X just yet. With sales popping up here and there, it’s obvious Motorola believe there’s still life in their Moto X just yet, but many people will be wondering when a follow-up is to hit the market, especially as some breezed past the modest specs in the original. We’ve seen what could be the Moto X+1 before now and we’ve seen the name and logo appear on Motorola’s website, but here comes a very different type of device, as TK Tech News has a video of what could be another Moto device.
The device in question is seen on video taped up, running Android L side-by-side by the Nexus 5 and according to their tipster, this device has different specs to the rumored Moto X+1, and the size leads TK Tech News to think that this is a different Motorola device altogether. While we can’t say much about a device that’s taped up running Android L, especially as there are some excellent Android L themes out there right now, but it is feasible that Motorola is testing out Android L and in fact they probably have been long before Google I/O.
So, what is it? Well, it’s possible that it’s another Moto device, perhaps a larger version of the X+1, but we’re thinking that this is perhaps some sort of Droid device heading for Verizon later in the year. Motorola have said before that they want to keep the size of their devices the best they can for their users, but the Droid line likes to offer something a little more in line with the likes of Samsung and HTC. Whatever the device is, there’s a couple of videos below for you to ogle over and let us know what you think in the comments!
