Samsung web profile hints that Galaxy Note 4 will have a QHD display

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 isn’t expected to be officially announced until IFA later this year but with the GS5 now official, and the excitement over the upcoming GS5 Prime starting to fizzle down a bit, it’s only natural for Samsung fans to turn their attention towards what will likely be the next big thing.

Recently the Note 4 hype train has been chugging along at an increasingly faster pace with news of the possibility of a flexible display option, a comeback for Exynos on the Note series, and even hints about the kind of companion devices that might launch alongside it. Now it seems Samsung has posted a web profile for an as-of-yet-announced SM-N910A, which seems likely to be the Note 4 considering the AT&T Note 3 is the SM-N900A.

While the web profile tells us very little, it does suggest the Note 4 will include a display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 (QHD). Considering the fact that the LG G3 will include a QHD display, we can’t say this “revelation” is particularly exciting, but nonetheless it’s nice to see something semi-official. The web-profile doesn’t indicate screen-size, though the rumor mill previously claimed it will likely offer the same 5.7-inch screen size as its predecessor (albeit with a higher resolution).

What would you like to see from the Note 4? Do you think that going with a QHD display makes sense at the 5.5+ screen size form factor, or is it overkill?
