The LG G3 is finally available for pre-order here in the US. But so far it seems as if T-Mobile is the only one to start pre-orders. I’m sure we’ll see the others starting theirs later today or later this week as well. So far there’s no pricing for those looking to get it on JUMP or on an EIP. But the unlocked price is $598. Which is about what we expected here in the US, we expected between $550-600, which is the price of most smartphones unlocked. T-Mobile hasn’t set an official launch date just yet for the LG G3, but it should be very soon now that we have Pre-Orders starting up.
We reviewed the Korean version of the LG G3 and really enjoyed the device. Of course it does have its flaws – but doesn’t every device? Everyone wanted to know about battery life. Which I felt was pretty good given how many pixels that display is pushing and how the battery is the same size as the G2′s battery. The LG G3 features a 2560×1440 resolution display and is 5.5-inches. It also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM with 32GB of storage. There’s also a microSD card slot that supports up to 128GB. We’ve also got a 13MP camera on the back with Laser Auto-Focus and OIS+. On the front we’ve got the 2.1MP camera. It’s running on Android 4.4.2 and has a 3000mAh battery inside.
LG will be launching the LG G3 on all four major carriers, that’s T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon and AT&T. However, we have no information about the other three just yet. As always, we’ll be sure to let you know once we get information about release dates for those carriers. How many of you are looking forward to picking up the LG G3 from T-Mobile?
