OnePlus got a little marketing with their drone deal yesterday, but owners of the OnePlus One aren’t happy at all. The OxygenOS update, based on CyanogenMod 12 and Android 5.0, still hasn’t delivered.
OnePlus originally promised that it would be out within 90 days of Google’s release of Lollipop. When that didn’t happen, they promised that it would happen by the end of March.
The latest update from OnePlus was yesterday and reads….”Unfortunately, we don’t have a meaningful update today, and probably won’t for the next few days as we wait for certification. I’ll update this post as soon as I hear back from our partner.”
I know this is bad news, but understand that you bought your OnePlus One is from a startup company, and these things aren’t surprisng. You may have gotten a great price on the phone, but unfortunately nothing is perfect. From crazy marketing, to poor customer service, and now the lack of updates, OnePlus has had their issues for sure. Will you look the other way when the OnePlus Two gets released?
