The YotaPhone 2 is an intriguing phone with it’s second e-paper display on the back. The only real problem with it is that it’s not available in the U.S or any of North America. It was rumored that T-Mobile would carry the device, but it does appear that you will be able to get your hands on the phone this summer.
YotaPhone will launch an Indiegogo campaign this April ahead of a summer release, which will include exclusive pricing for early bird orders. According to Phone Scoop, that price will be $600, which is considerably a lot less than to import one. The YotaPhone 2 will be compatible with both T-Mobile and AT&T.
YotaPhone is also working with retailers such as Best Buy to hopefully make it easier to buy the device when it’s officially launched this summer.
YotaPhone 2 still isn’t on Lollipop, but it’s expected to roll out by the time it’s released in North America.
