Huawei Released Three New P8 Teaser Images Touting Various Improvements

Huawei is expected to release a bunch of new and compelling devices this year, and the company has already confirmed via an official teaser that the long-awaited Huawei P8 will launch next month. This China-based company still hasn’t confirmed the exact date of the launch, but we do know that it will arrive in April. Anyhow, Huawei has already released one teaser quite recently, teasing P8’s great battery life, or something to that effect, and now the company has released an additional three teasers via the company’s official Weibo (Chinese social media) account, let’s check them out.

All three teaser images are included in a gallery down below, let’ see what they’re about one by one. The first image in the gallery touts a great camera on this device, as you can see, a camera image is included in the number 8. The same thing can be said about the second image in the gallery, which teases a surprising price point of the upcoming P8 handset, or the worldwide availability of the device (maybe even both). As you can see, all sorts of currencies are listed next to the smartphone icon within the teaser itself. And finally, the third teaser. This image seems to suggest that the device will offer great display protection, perhaps a sapphire glass protection? I don’t know if you recall, but Huawei did release a sapphire edition of the Ascend P7 last year. You can never know what these teasers mean for sure, but we’re doing our best to figure it out. We’ve stumbled upon a lot of rumors regarding the specifications of this device. According to that info, the Huawei P8 will feature a 5.2-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 930 octa-core processor will power on this device, and a 13-megapixel OIS rear-facing camera has also been mentioned in various rumors thus far. The Huawei P8 will launch in April, the company still hasn’t confirmed the date, but one of their executives did mention that the launch will take place in London on April 15, so we’ll take that piece of information as a reference.
