Leak reveals launch date of the Verizon Nexus 6 and Samsung Galaxy Core Prime

A few days ago, we saw the Verizon site listing the Motorola Nexus 6 as ‘coming soon’. This left much to our imagination and didn’t provide enough clarity on when to expect the handset. But now, a new leak has revealed it all, along with the alleged release date of Samsung’s midrange Galaxy Core Prime smartphone.

According to a leaked document accessed by Android Police, the Nexus 6 will break cover on Big Red starting February 26. A leak from yesterday has given us a good idea of what to expect from the smartphone in terms of appearance.

The Samsung Galaxy Core Prime on the other hand will not arrive until the 5th of March, so there is still some waiting left to do for that one.

For those unaware, this is a midrange budget offering from the Korean manufacturer with features like a 4.5 inch WVGA display, a 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 410 SoC, a 5-megapixel rear camera, 8GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM and Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

While the Nexus 6 might grab all the attention when it arrives later this month, the value offered by Samsung’s midrange offering cannot be disputed.
