Kingsoft Updates Its WPS Office Plus App To Ver. 7 With New UI And Added Cloud Support

WPS Office Plus

If you’re a business owner, a student, or someone who has to deal with documents, spreadsheets and such on a daily basis for work or anything else, it’s a great idea for you to have an office app installed on your smartphone or tablet. There are more than enough to choose from that it shouldn’t be a matter of not finding one. It’s more or less narrowing it down to which one works best for you. While we can’t answer that question for you, we can point out some new additions to the recently updated WPS Office Plus app from Kingsoft which was already a great office suite for Android to begin with, and from there you can decide if it works for what you need.

As of today Kingsoft has updated WPS Office + to version 7.0 which brings in some new features that existing and new users should find useful, as well as a stylish new UI that makes the application easy to work with and pleasing to look at, and when we say new UI, we mean material design elements inspired by Android Lollipop. First there’s the addition of new cloud support within the office apps, so you can backup and store documents, spreadsheets and other files in your Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Box, and Evernote accounts.

Besides looking a whole lot better, the new Material Design inspired UI should make things easier to use inside of the app according to Kingsoft, and things are certainly great when they’re easier to use especially in the name of productivity. The other new notable feature included in this latest update is the Doc tabbing feature. If you’re a busy person during the day you might be using multiple documents or files within the office app at the same time, and Doc tabbing allows you to more easily access everything so you can edit, view and manage multiple documents, spreadsheets, and other files at once without getting bogged down. Speed isn’t always important, but multitasking can be a useful tool that isn’t really about speed so much as it is about efficiency. Doc tabbing is there to help with that. There are other new features too like “Tabbed view” and “Ink view,” although tabbed view is only available on smartphones and ink view is only available on tablets, so if you have use for either of those at any time make sure you have the correct device for the job. Of course, plenty of bugs were fixed in this update too so everything should have an overall generally improved smoothness to it. You can grab WPS Office + from the Play Store if you want to test it out, or just simply update if you already use it.Google-Play-Banner-Get-it-On-Large1
