Huawei did great in 2014, the company managed to exceed expectations and increase their market share and profits last year. They introduced a number of great phones, like the Ascend P7, Ascend Mate 7, Honor 6, Honor 6 Plus… but it seems like they’re looking to outdo themselves in 2015. According to previous leaks, the company plans to release a number of great devices this year as well, in order to improve upon their last year’s offerings. One of those devices will certainly be the Huawei P8, you may notice I didn’t use the “Ascend” branding because reports say that the company will cut that brand completely, they already did from some official listings.
Anyhow, we’ve already seen several P8 leaks, like the one that arrived a couple of days ago and revealed possible specs of this device. Well, today we have some alleged photos of this handset to share with you. These images appeared on Twitter and the leaker claims this is the Huawei P8 handset with a 5.2-inch 1080p display. The leaker also mentioned that the device will be powered by Huawei’s Kirin 930 64-bit SoC and will offer 3GB of RAM for all your multitasking needs. 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) was also mentioned, same goes for the 2,600mAh battery and Android 5.0 Lollipop.
We cannot confirm any of this, of course, this is just a leak. I can say that the details look realistic though, including the look of the leaked phone as well. Some reports claim that the company will release this thing at MWC in Barcelona this March, which is possible only if Huawei intends to move their usual release schedule a bit. Let me remind you that the Ascend P7 was launched in May last year, so March might be a bit early for Huawei to launch this device.
