Lollipop Clock App Will Automatically Change Color During The Day

Android-5.0-Lollipop-Clock With the wide release of Android 5.0 Lollipop coming any day now, Android lovers everywhere can expect some fairly significant changes on their devices when they actually receive the update. Or, if you’re lucky enough to get your hands on a Nexus 6 or Nexus 9 you will see those devices running Lollipop right out of the box. Google has put a lot of time and manpower into putting a refresh on its world-dominating software and hopes are high that they were able to pull it off. According to reports, the Lollipop update will bring much desired features like longer battery life and seamless transition when moving between devices. For example, if you’re playing a game on your Android phone and decide to switch to your Android tablet, you will be able to pick up exactly where you left off. Google’s Material Design brings a multitude of changes to the look of the Android OS, from the icons to the color scheme and how you move from screen to screen, it puts a much-needed fresh coat of paint on the Android we know and love. One of these kinds of changes is the appearance of the Android clock app.

While not as radical a change as the many others people will see with Android 5.0 Lollipop, it is still a notable difference when compared to the previous version. The clock app in Lollipop will automatically change color depending on the time of day. With colors that vary between shades of grey, blue and purple, the clock will be lighter in color during the day and get darker as the day progresses. As mentioned earlier, while this certainly is not the most exciting or radical change we’ll see with Lollipop, it is indicative of the amount of thought Google has given to all the finer details when creating Android 5.0.

With more and more information regarding Android 5.0 Lollipop’s design elements and features coming to light as its official release to consumers gets closer, it’s safe to say that this won’t be the only little surprise we will be discovering in the coming days. Everything that has been revealed thus far seems genuinely exciting and it looks as though Google has been able to live up to the hype. Only time will tell.
