Lenovo Golden Warrior A8 A808T-I Is A Lower-End Variant Of The A808T

Lenovo is pushing tons of devices out lately, well, they basically always have I guess. This Chinese manufacturer launched Lenovo Golden Warrior A8 back in July. The device is also called Lenovo Golden Warrior A8 A808T in China and Lenovo Golden Warrior A8 A806 in EMEA region. This device is actually available worldwide via 1949deal.com and you can get it for $179.99 (free shipping), which is a great deal for such a device. Lenovo A8 features a 5-inch 720p display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. This device is powered by MediaTek’s MT6592 octa-core chip and look really good overall. Aside from that it also features a 13-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash and ships with Android 4.4.2. You can find more details about the device here, along with the retailer’s information. We’re not here to talk about A808T though, but about a new device from Lenovo.

This Chinese manufacturer has released a lower-end version of A808T, dubbed A808T-I. According to information from China, this device is rather similar to the A808T, they’re the same in everything expect RAM count, internal storage and processor which runs them. This new device sports 1GB of RAM instead of 2GB you can find in A808T, it also has 8GB of internal storage instead of 16GB and is powered by MediaTek’s MT6592M octa-core processor. The device sports a 13-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel shooter on the front. 140.5 x 70.8 x 9mm are its measurements and it ships with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS, of course. Android 4.4 KitKat comes pre-installed and on top of it you’ll be able to find Lenovo’s Vibe UI. This is also a 4G LTE device. It will quite probably be available in black, white and gold colors.

The price is still unknown, but we can assume it will be lower than A808T’s price. It will have to be significantly lower though, considering A808T is a much more powerful device. We still have no information on the international availability either, but I guess Lenovo will make it available through retailers in a couple of months or something like that.
