Android How To: Find your Flight Information in Inbox by Google

So this week, Google introduced us to Inbox by Google. And no, we don’t have any invites yet. As soon as we do, we’ll be sure to share them with everyone. Inbox by Google is a new way to do email. It’s a much more intuitive email approach and bundles more emails that are similar together. For instance, it will bundle all your travel emails together, all your financial emails together and a bunch of others too. So say for instance you’re getting ready to go on vacation and you have confirmation of your flight, hotel and rental car in your email. Well go to the “Travel” section in Gmail and there are all your emails. But what about finding out your flight information? That’s even easier.

To find out your flight information, just go to the search box and type “when’s my next flight” and it’ll find your next flight for you. As you can see above, I’m flying to New York on Monday for ZTE’s event and Verizon’s DROID event on Tuesday. So it shows me all the info right there. It also has a nice picture of New York City there and it looks really nice visually. You can even get to the original email straight from the first search result, as well as manage your reservation. It’s really nice.

So Google has brought Google Now into your inbox. Pretty awesome right? We’ve got a lot more to do with Inbox for Gmail, so make sure you stay tuned to the site and see what else we have to bring you.
