A while back we reported that LG was planning on bringing the UX from their flagship G3 to upcoming low to mid-range models. Now it appears that their plans will come to fruition as they’ve announced two new budget-friendly devices: the LG L Fino and L Bello. If the interface wasn’t enough, both models also stay true to LG’s “Floating Arc” design language, complete with rear-mounted buttons, which makes for some premium-looking handsets.
The L Fino is the runt of the two, with a 4.5-inch WVGA (800 x 480) display and a pocket-friendly body. Under the hood its packing a capable 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage powered by a 1,900mAh battery. The L Bello is a little more robust with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The L Bello also has a larger 2,540mAh battery and an FWVGA (480 x 854) display. Both feature an 8MP rear-facing camera that LG calls “class-leading”. The L Fino features a VGA-quality front-facing camera while the L Bello has a 1MP snapper on the front.
LG has also made sure to include many of its popular UX features including Gesture Shot, Front Camera Light, Touch & Shoot and the popular Knock Code. No word on carrier availability or pricing yet, but its safe to assume these will be competitively priced. Both phones also feature support for LG’s QuickCircle case. Let us know in the comments if either of these devices pique your interest.
