The LG G Watch stands as a very popular smartwatch, even if the Moto 360 has the better looks and the Samsung Gear Live has the lower price. In fact, most of you said you would prefer the G Watch over the Gear Live, which leaves a lot to say about LG’s first Android Wear device.
Are you looking to buy an LG G Watch? The first units have already started shipping from the Google Play Store, but if Android Wear is to take off, these devices need to be available from a variety of stores. This is why LG is not delaying its device’s global and widespread release.
LG plans to have the G Watch in both real and digital shelves in 12 markets, including: United States, Canada, France, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Australia, India, Japan and South Korea. It will also be sold in fifteen other countries, only through retail stores. This includes some major markets like Brazil, Mexico, Russia, Singapore and New Zealand.
LG is not revealing all the stores where the LG G Watch is being sold. This could be for obvious reasons – these are way too many countries to list all the retailers. In the USA, we can be sure we will find it at major retailers like Best Buy. We will also find it at some carrier stores, like AT&T.
Be patient and let the LG G Watch take its course, it will soon be in a store near you, where you will be able to test it to your heart’s content. Meanwhile, you can go ahead and let us give you our opinion on the smartwatch. We got an LG G Watch at Google IO and didn’t wait long to give you our very first impressions on the Android Wear device. You can also be sure a review is in the works!
