Android How To: Change the Clock Face on LG’s Quick Circle Case

LG-G3-Quick-Circle-AH-1

One of the more interesting things when the LG G3 was announced back in May, was the Quick Circle case. Sure it reminds us of the Samsung S View Case and even the HTC Dot View case to an extent. But it’s a bit different. As it has a circle that’s cut out – and there’s no plastic there so it works great when taking pictures – and there’s a bit more functionality to it compared to the S View Cover and the Dot View case. Well we have a Quick Circle case in house – review coming soon – and we decided that we should do a tutorial on how to change the clock face, as it did take us a few minutes to learn how to do it.

In order to change the clock face, what you’ll need to do is swipe over the clock with the Quick Circle case closed. This will take you to the screen that shows all the apps you can use. Now tap on Settings. Now you can swipe between all the clock faces that are available. Just tap on the one you want then hit the back button, and voila. Your clock face has been changed. There are a few different ones available there, although my favorite one is shown above – it’s my favorite because you can also see the weather from it, unlikes the others.

There is a SDK available for the Quick Circle case, so we may see some other clock faces make their way to the LG G3 for the Quick Circle case. But as for now that’s all we’ve got, unfortunately. Hopefully we see more functionality for the Quick Circle case soon as developers get into the SDK, as it’s a really nice looking case and already has some good functionality.
