Samsung Closed Company’s ‘Experience Store’ In London

Samsung is having a tough year, after a long time of dominance and constant profit jumps, the company has faced profit dips in the last couple of quarters this year. Their profit is down all over the world, except for the US. Samsung’s profit took a 50% dive in China, for example, just to give you an idea what we’re talking about here. This Korean tech giant is trying to turn things around in various ways, from redesigning their devices to cutting back on the amount of devices they produce. This company has gotten a really bad reputation over time for making cheap looking and feeling handsets as well as rather poor and bloated software, the company is trying to change that, at least as far as the design goes. Samsung has introduced a bunch of premium built smartphones in the last couple of months, but the software side of things is still a problem for many users.

That being said, Samsung has also been opening “Experience Stores” all over the world in recent years and it seems like their poor financial results are making the company close some of them. Samsung Experience Store in London is permanently closed. This store was located at the Westfield Stratford City shopping center and was quite large, this was one of the biggest Experience Stores in the UK. “We remain fully committed to the operation of the remaining nine Samsung Experience Stores across the UK, and wish to reassure our customers that those stores will not be affected by this decision,” said Samsung to The Verge. It seems like Samsung wants to cut down on retail costs by making this move.

Samsung is still the number one smartphone manufacturer in the world and will stay on top of the pile, but if their sales keep on dropping at this pace, the company will face bigger issues sooner than later. They really have to find a way out of this mess by listening to what people want and improving in certain areas in order to gain good reputation once again and stop the sales decline.
