PPLCONNECT is one of the more unique applications around. The app lets users connect phone calls and messages to a computer. Now, the functionality of PPLCONNECT continues when a device has run out of battery. Before that even happens, though, users can take a look at Battery Manager. Battery Manager shows battery status and will push a notification when hitting 10%. That way users know when they need a charger without having to check the phone itself. When the device runs out of battery, the computer with PPLCONNECT continues to carries out its purpose. The catch is that texts are limited to other PPLCONNECT users. Non-users can be sent messages for 10¢ or users can go the old fashioned route and call.
