Meizu MX4 was a huge success for the company. This device has been selling like hotcakes ever since it launched and Meizu even had problems meeting the demand for the device. This Chinese manufacturer realized that they’ll be late delivering the devices and offered an apology to its customer as well as some coupons for Flyme store and similar stuff. Li Nan, Meizu’s Vice President, said that the company has resolved every issue as far as production goes and that they won’t have any problems delivering devices in the future, just in time for Meizu MX4 Pro’s launch.
As you probably already know, Meizu has confirmed that the MX4 Pro device will be launched in November. Considering that the rumors say the device will be priced at 2,499 Yuan ($408), I can imagine this device will be in high demand as well. Meizu MX4 not only sold well to earn this company some cash, but it is also a great advertisement for the company itself. MX4 helped Meizu spread the word around and basically promote this Chinese manufacturer. Considering what a great job the company did with the device, everyone has high hopes for the MX4 Pro. According to the leaked benchmarks, this handset will feature a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1536) display along with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (Meizu could offer more than 1 storage version of this device). It will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 5430 octa-core processor which comes with Mali-T628 MP6 GPU for graphics rendering. 20.7-megapixel camera will reportedly be located on the back (same sensor as on the MX4) with a 5-megapixel snapper available on the front of the device. Android 4.4.4 KitKat will ship with this device with Meizu’s Flyme OS on top of it, of course.
Meizu MX4 Pro will also feature a fingerprint scanner below the screen which will quite probably be implemented in a rectangular button. This basically means the “dot” from MX line of devices won’t be present here, which is a shame, but it seems this is the only way they could implement the scanner properly. Anyhow, we still don’t know when exactly (date) will Meizu launch this beast, but we’ll see it unveiled in November for sure, so stay tuned.
