Meizu MX4‘s big brother, the Meizu MX4 Pro, has been leaked back and forth for a while now. We’ve seen all sorts of leaks regarding this phone, some of which are completely out there, others however, not so much. Back in August an image leaked claiming to show Meizu’s MX4 Pro device, it was hard to believe that was the actual device back then considering the design seemed too different from the MX4’s original design. Not only that but the device resembled the Galaxy S2 a whole lot and the rectangular button placed on it didn’t make any sense. As time passed by we’ve seen more rumors / leaks pointing towards that design, explaining certain parts of it. That rectangular button allegedly houses a fingering scanner. A few days ago alleged specs leaked (partial specs that is) along with the pricing of the device and its design. That design once again pointed to the one I mentioned before and showed us that rectangular button again.
This new leak from Weibo brings us the alleged Meizu MX4 in white clothing and once again brings that S2-like design. Basically everything si pointing towards that design and it is more and more probable that will, in fact, be the Meizu MX4 Pro. I have to admit I’m really not a fan of that rectangular button, it just ruins the whole design for me, I’d actually prefer it if Meizu would stick to the MX4 design and leave out the fingerprint scanner, that’s just me though. Other than this image we don’t get basically anything else along with this leak. We’ve heard before that the MX4 Pro will be delayed though and that it will land in November. This device is expected to sport a 5.4-inch 2K (2560 x 1440) display (quite probably manufactured by Sharp) and Samsung’s Exynos 5430 octa-core processor. Meizu MX4 Pro will reportedly cost around 2499 Yuan in China, international price wasn’t mentioned however, though I’m pretty sure Meizu will ship this thing internationally, just like they did with the original MX4.
