Report: LG G3 Launching on T-Mobile on July 16th

LG-G3-Review-AH-10

This aught to make a few people happy. According to TmoNews, it looks like the LG G3 is going to be heading to T-Mobile on July 16th. Now remember that this is just a report and nothing is official just yet, so it’s important to treat it as such. However, Tmonews’ inside sources are usually spot on, so there’s that. The LG G3 was announced back in May, and we haven’t heard a word about it coming to the US, other than “this summer”. In fact, it even launched in a ton of countries on Friday. So the LG G3 is finally making it’s way to more and more countries and will hopefully sell plenty more as they sold pretty well in their home country of South Korea.

The LG G3 is the first Quad HD display device that’s widely available. The LG G3 features a 5.5-inch 2560×1440 resolution display (it’s an IPS panel for those interested), Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 13MP camera with Laser Auto Focus and OIS+ on the back, 2.1MP front-facing camera, 3000mAh removable battery as well as Android 4.4.2 KitKat on board. It’s a pretty beastly device to say the least.

I reviewed the LG G3 a few weeks ago here at Android Headlines, and I really liked the device. The battery life was good, just not great. And coming from the LG G2 I was a bit disappointed in the battery life, but the good thing is it’s removable so you can go ahead and get a bigger battery – which I’m sure Zero Lemon is working on making one. It’s also a great looking device from LG. How many of you are on T-Mobile and looking to pick up the LG G3 when it launches soon? Let us know in the comments below.
