The marketing pitch was something along the lines of, “When Swiss watchmaking heritage meets avant-garde technology.” And then TAG Heuer introduced a phone with a a 3.5-inch display (800×480), 256MB RAM, 8GB storage, 5MP camera, and Android 2.2 at a price of $6,700. With those specs, I don’t think we could have been further from “avant-garde.”
I think we called it the “world’s most unneeded piece of Android technology.” Ahhhh, vision.
