We’re getting closer and closer to the holidays and gift-giving fever is just around the corner. In the spirit of the season, Google’s latest act of giving is to let you gift a free Play Movie for a friend when you buy one for yourself.
The deal is live now over at Google’s Play Movie landing page. Just sign in to your Google account and pick the movie that you want to buy. Once purchased, you will receive an email with a code for that same movie in your email within 48 hours for you to share with someone. The list of movies is sparse, but there are a few gems being offered:
- Jurassic Park
- Love Actually
- Despicable Me
- Despicable Me 2
- Pitch Perfect
- Back to the Future
- Fast and Furious 6
- E.T.
Google will keep handing out these deals until December 17. The only requirement, other than being a US resident, is that these must be purchased, not rented. But hey, you’re getting two copies of the movie for the price of one. Holiday savings!
