The Moto X Pure Edition is here! The excitement is needed because this is the 3rd generation of a phone that we called the phone of the year in both 2013 and 2014. Or maybe better put, this pone has some big shoes to fill.
With a Moto Maker designed Moto X Pure Edition (MXPE) in house, we thought we would kick off our coverage as we always do, with a quick unboxing. In this quick video, you’ll see some initial reactions, even though this is the 3rd time I’ve had the phone in hand, the fact that Motorola tossed in a Turbo Charger and free bumper case, both of which do not seem to be affecting the still-rock-bottom price, and another run-through of specs.
If you were looking for an immediate verdict, I obviously don’t have one. But man, this phone feels great in hand, just like the two generations of Moto X before it. Sure, it’s huge – like, really huge – but isn’t everything these days? Over the next week or so, this will be the full time device in my pocket, so expect a review shortly.
