Xiaomi To Offer Two Devices On March 12th In India, The MiPad Tablet Might Be One Of Them

Rumors and leaks have been almost non-existent during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, which is understandable, but considering the fact that the show is over, it’s time to get to our usual rhythm. Xiaomi is well-known for their unusual teasers and what now, well, they’re at it again. This China-based smartphone manufacturer has teased a flash sale in India the other day by posting an interesting puzzle via Chinese social media. At first, it seemed like the company will sell the Redmi 2 handsets on March 12th, but that might not be the case after all.

These were the first discovered words which have pointed at the Redmi 2: Snapdragon, Expandable, Matte and Wide-angle. Well, someone took a closer look at the puzzle and managed to come up with a bunch of additional pointers in there: Keplar, NVIDIA, Tegra, Movies, Quick Charge, LTE, HD, Dual SIM, Lighter OS, Android, More, Books, Cortex and New. Considering these new pointers, we’ll hardly talking (only) about the Redmi 2, the Tegra K1-powered MiPad tablet is not only a possibility, but a probability at this point. The “all-new Mi product” has also been mentioned in the mix, and these clues might point to more than 1 device actually. Xiaomi might offer their current-gen Tegra K1-powered MiPad tablet, along with the Redmi 2 or an all-new product, perhaps the Snapdragon-powered tablet that has been leaked in the past? I don’t know if you recall, but back in December some rumors were saying that Xiaomi is getting ready to launch the Snapdragon 410-powered tablet, which would be extremely affordable, this could be the perfect fit for Indian market actually.

That’s it folks, we’ll know everything on March 12th when this flash sale will take place, though Xiaomi might release another teaser by that time.
