Lots of big stuff happened this week. Google officially announced Android 5.1 Lollipop and started rolling out the software to some of the Nexus devices, and they also launched the all new Chromebook Pixel 2 and opened up their first physical retail location in London this week. Since Google has never had a physical Google-branded retail outlet to sell their products, this was something monumental for them. There’s also a rumor that’s been started that appears Google may be looking into bringing their own in-house VPN to Android, allowing users to browse the internet securely with a baked in virtual private network.
YouTube finally brought support for the 360 degree videos we’d head about near the beginning of last month, giving content creators a whole new way to share videos and experiences with their viewers. Samsung fans are potentially getting some super smartphones as Samsung has been rumored to launch a Captain America and Iron Man themed Galaxy S 6 Edge both with colors unique to the characters and with matching cases. That’s the rundown of all the biggest news, but you can check out all the top 10 news stories this week below.
