UK Sports fans, or anyone that generally enjoys watching Cricket, the International Cricket Council is teaming up with Reliance Big Entertainment to launch a fantasy Cricket application. In case you aren’t too sure about who Reliance Big Entertainment is, they’re the development and publishing team behind games like Real Steel and the more recently released Real Steel Champions, as well as other games like Total Recall, The Hunger Games Panem Run, and others. A fantasy Cricket app might seem a bit out of sorts for them, but if you actually take a look at their Google Play page with all the apps they offer, they have a whole handful of these apps and games that have been created in partnership with the ICC to promote the 2015 Cricket World Cup.
As for the Cricket Fantasy app in particular, inside will be home to many aspects and features you might find in any other fantasy sports application. It starts with logging in so you can get everything up and running, then browsing through the collection of international Cricket players with which you’ll have to select and place aside to build your dream team. Once you have your profile created and your team put together, you can fly through the fantasy season as games go by and attempt to make changes if needed to better your standings and raise your ranks on the leaderboards.
It isn’t all about fantasy though as the app does include news, live scores, player details, and other information highlights about the sport of Cricket and the upcoming 2015 Cricket World Cup. Best of all, those highlight details don’t cost users anything to access, so you can freely check up on the latest Cricket updates whenever you have a moment. Everything is easily accessible right from the home screen, and there is only four main categories so it shouldn’t be difficult to navigate around. The main home page in the app has sections for your team, your profile, news, and of course, a schedule so you know when exactly every upcoming game is. The app is already live on the Play Store and there doesn’t look to be any region specific lockouts, so everyone should have access to it.
