Meizu M1 Note Gets Listed On Snapdeal In India, And It’s Quite Expensive

Meizu-M1-Note-12

Meizu has been doing a great job lately. This up-and-coming company has showcased a number of impressive devices back in 2014, and the Meizu M1 Note is certainly one of them. This is not a flagship handset by any stretch of the imagination, but it’s a nicely-specced mid-ranger, that’s for sure. This China-based company has launched the M1 Note back in December, and we’ve already reviewed it, and can tell you that it performs great. If you’d like to check out the full review, click here.

That being said, the company has teased its arrival to India quite recently. They did not provide any additional details though, it was safe to assume that they’ll partner up with an Indian retailer and sell their devices, but nobody knew with whom. Well, the company still didn’t reveal its plans, and their M1 Note handset is now listed on SnapDeal’s website. The 32GB version of the device is listed on Snapdeal, though it’s not available for sale at the moment. This device is considered one of the best smartphones under $200, and yet for some reason it costs Rs. 34,999 ($550) on Snapdeal. One would think this listing is fake considering the price, but Snapdeal is a well-known reseller. Either way, Meizu is expected to release an official announcement soon, so they’ll clear things up hopefully. The M1 Note will hardly be priced so high in India.

The Meizu M1 Note is a mid-ranger which comes sporting a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display, 2GB of RAM and is powered by MediaTek’s octa-core SoC. This handset features a 13-megapixel camera on the back, while a 5-megapixel snapper is located on the front. Android 4.4 KitKat comes pre-installed here with Meizu’s very own Flyme UI on top of Google’s operating system. The M1 Note measures 150.7 x 75.2 x 8.9mm and weighs 145 grams. This handset also comes with Dual-SIM and 4G LTE support by the way. The M1 Note is available in a range of colors in China, but it remains to be seen how many options will Indian consumers have. Stay tuned for Meizu’s official announcement, the company will hopefully release some info soon.
