Puzzle/Platformers are a long time favorite among the mobile gaming world, and for good reason. Especially when you take a look at games like Leo’s Fortune. This game takes everything about the puzzle/platformer genre and shows just how awesome it can truly be. It seems to have every inch covered when it comes to great game elements. It has stunning visuals(no joke, when I say stunning I really mean stunning)plenty of great puzzles that will stretch your mind a little bit and overall the most important element, it’s amazingly fun. Of course it also brings in other cool factors like hilarious voice acting of the little fuzzy fluff Leopold, but that could be considered a great little bonus.
In this awesome platforming adventure, Leo has had his fortune of gold stolen right our from under his bushy little mustache and it’s your job to help him track down the thieves and get the fortune back. Help Leo traverse through lush forests of mossy green wonder and even through pirate cities that could be laden with traps and all manner of devilish affair. There are 24 levels of which you’ll need to complete to retrieve Leo’s fortune for him, and once you have completed those you will unlock hard mode which will truly test your skills. The devs of Leo’s Fortune challenge you to attempt beating each and every level on hard mode without dying, which they refer to as a feat that is seldom achieved by gamers of the platforming adventure.
While this game is truly a masterpiece all its own, added value come through features like Google Play Games services which ads leaderboards and achievements to the mix so you can add to your gamer status, and cloud saves linked to your Google account so you can pick up and play across devices without any issue. Leo’s Fortune also supports gamepads so you can choose to stick with the traditional touch screen controls or you can hook up a Bluetooth gamepad to control things a little more like a console game. Some of the reviews state that Leo’s Fortune is a little bit short and while that may be true, it’s well worth every penny and is a game that will not fail at delighting those who play it.
