Featured Review: Verus Dandy Klop Folio Case for the Google Nexus 6

It’s time to take a look at another Verus case for the Google Nexus 6. This time it’s the Dandy Flop Case. This is their faux leather folio case for the Nexus 6 which also has slots inside for cards, and business cards, etc. Which work really nicely, actually. I’ve been using it on my Nexus 6 for a few days now, and it’s built pretty well. There’s a plastic shell inside which holds the Nexus 6 in place, then there’s the faux leather that wraps around the case. It does have a cut out for the camera, as well as the microphone hole on the back. There’s also one on the front for the earpiece/speaker at the time. The ports don’t need cut outs because the case only covers the left side of the phone, which has nothing on it. So you can still easily get to the volume rocker, power button, headphone jack and micro USB port.

These flip cases like the Dandy Klop always feel a bit awkward when I’m using my phone, and this one is no different. It is a nice looking case, but just not my first choice for a case, I’d prefer the Super Slim case from Verus instead. If you like these types of cases, and love the idea of having your license and debit card/credit card all with your phone, then this is a pretty sweet case to have, especially for a big phone like the Nexus 6.

Verus has a nice selection of cases available for the Nexus 6 as well as other devices on the market as well. They make great, high quality cases, and I’ve used them on both the LG G3 and now the Nexus 6. No complaints at all, which is sometimes hard for manufacturers that sell solely on Amazon. Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Samsung Galaxy S5 heads out to more countries in Europe

The upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop for the Samsung Galaxy S5 is bound to find its way onto more handsets rather soon, as it’s been confirmed Samsung is rolling the upgrade out to more folks in Europe. Spain has been confirmed as a recipient of the upgrade as early as this morning, and it’s possible more will be added before the new year hits.

Samsung initially began their Lollipop rollout in Poland as a bit of a test. That test was successful as Samsung was confident enough to begin rollouts throughout their home turf of South Korea, an area that typically enjoys all of Samsung’s goods ahead of the rest of the pack. Now, with Samsung’s focus squared back on Europe, we should see folks in a lot more countries get a late Christmas treat in the very near future.

Samsung’s take on Android 5.0 Lollipop is as expected: it’s still Touchwiz, albeit with a slightly different look, and they took this opportunity to introduce some of the most useful Android 5.0 features while polishing up a long list of their own. We’ll keep our ears and eyes out for any more rollouts happening down the line so stay tuned!

Samsung Announces The Galaxy Note 4 LTE-A Tri-Band CA Model With Download Speeds Of Up To 300Mbps

There's no such thing as a connection that's too fast. Samsung seems to be following that sentiment with the latest variant of the Galaxy Note 4, officially announced this weekend. The new Note 4 has something called LTE Advanced Tri-Band Carrier Aggregation, which is a fancy way of saying that its mobile download speed is faster than just about anything else on the market. Samsung claims the phone can download files at a speed of 300mbps, faster than all but the most advanced wired connections.
