Chromecast’s Cast Screen feature now supports the Samsung Galaxy Note 4
Slow and steady wins the race. The Cast Screen feature found in the Chromecast app is available to only select devices. As of late, Google has been adding support for new devices. It was most recently Sony that saw a slew of devices receive Cast Screen support. Now, another Samsung device gets the special treatment. The Galaxy Note 4 is compatible with the Cast Screen feature. This allows a user to mirror their device’s display to a television connected with a Chromecast.
Don’t have a Galaxy Note 4? Then just use your Tesco hudl2 or TrekStor SurfTab xintron i 7.0 for the Cast Screen feature. Because you definitely own one of them.

Verizon’s ETF fee will not decrease until a contract’s eighth month of life
That right there is a bunch of jibber-jabber that can be condensed to this: Verizon will not start taking money off of its early termination fee until the contract is at least eight months old. Advanced devices have an early termination fee that starst at $350. Devices that do not fall under that title start at $175. So any money taken off of the ETF is welcome. The savings start at $10 or $5 depending upon the device and climb up to $60 or $30 in the twenty-fourth month of a contract.
This is how the new deductions will operate (advanced devices/non-advanced devices):
- Months 8-18: $10 / $5 per month
- Months 19-23: $20 / $10 per month
- Month 24: $60 / $30
The policy change will be limited to devices purchased on November 14 and thereafter.

ASUS ZenWatch now available through the Play Store
Right now, customers in the United States can pick up ASUS’ ZenWatch for $199 from the Play Store. The device is currently listed as ‘in stock’ and will leave Google’s warehouses within 1-2 business days, so if you order today with Standard Delivery, it should be with you by next Monday, November 17.
In terms of design, ASUS’ first ever smart watch sports an aluminium unibody and is essentially a more elegant version of LG’s G Watch. ASUS’ offering comes with a ‘real’ leather strap, which can be purchased in a variety of different colors, including Black, Tan Blue, Pink and Red.

Samsung’s decline in performance affects top executive’s pay
Although Samsung has seen its financial performance decline recently, it still generates a massive amount of money. That decline, though, does affect the earnings of top executives. J.K. Shin, the man in charge of the company’s mobile division, saw his pay fall in the third quarter to $630,000 after earning $1.5 million in the preceding quarter. While Shin is not the only Samsung executive affected, he felt it the most because he leads the largest arm. The operating profit drop from 20% in the first quarter to 7% in the third.
Still, Shin has earned more this year than any other executive within the company at $10.9 million. And there is the entire fourth and final quarter of the year to work with.

Titanium Backup Now Works On Devices Running Android Lollipop Following 6.2 Update
With the release of version 6.2, Titanium Backup should now play along nicely with Android 5.0. This means rooted users who have already jumped to Lollipop can continue to use the tool to back up, restore, or freeze whichever apps they wish.
When you install the app, it's not going to look pretty. There's no Material Design to drool over, or any fancy animations to catch your eye. Even the icon looks a little out of date these days.
