Moto G 4G LTE now available for purchase for just $219!

Moto G Announcement

The Moto G continues to be one of the most popular devices world-wide. In fact, it is Motorola’s most sold smartphone ever made! It came as no surprise that Motorola would release a worthy successor. Announced just about a month ago, the Moto G 4G LTE promises the same performance, build quality and more, for an unbeatable $219 price.

We didn’t have to wait much before seeing the device going live. The Moto G 4G LTE has just become available for purchase straight from Motorola’s website. It has been available for pre-order for some time, but the device is now in stock and ready for shipping.

There are not many differences between the original Moto G and the Moto G 4G LTE. The main improvement is the addition of 4G LTE antennas (of course). Internal storage has also been limited to just 8 GB, but Motorola makes up for it by adding the highly-acclaimed microSD card slot. The device supports microSD cards of up to 32 GB.

And just in case you haven’t been putting much attention to this device, it is very capable. The affordable handset carries a 4.5-inch 720p display, a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 5 MP/1.3 MP cameras and a 2070 mAh battery. This is far from being a bad deal, guys!

Motorola’s advantages extend far beyond what you originally get, though. Let’s not forget how well the Manufacturer has been doing at pushing the latest updates. In fact, the Moto G was among the first phones in the world to get Android 4.4.3, even beating some Nexus devices.

In addition to this, Motorola does offer a service that is very similar to HTC Advantage. They will repair a broken screen once, if the device was purchased straight from Motorola. Any other repairs will come with an attached $175 fee.

You can go ahead and purchase the Moto G 4G LTE straight from Motorola’s site, if you are looking for a good $219 smartphone. They also have a plethora of colorful cases and accessories, so go check them out!

Life Time Alarm Clock wakes you up the smartest way possible

Screen Shot 2014-06-16 at 4.20.51 PM

Smartphones have come to change the way we see and do everything in our daily lives. Considering this, why have we been sticking to archaic and simple alarm apps? Sleep is, after all, one of the most important parts of our lives. A bad morning can ruin the whole day, and that is why apps like Life Time Alarm Clock are worth as much as gold.

What makes this app special is its customizability and wide range of features. For starters, the app works via an intuitive dragging system, allowing you to more intuitively set your times, as templates emulate a traditional clock. The app looks very sleek and elegant, and it’s optimized for most screen sizes and resolutions.

But let’s get past the glitter and flashes, what we care about is how Life Time Alarm Clock can help us wake up better. One of the features is called Gentle Pre-alarm, which you can set at any time of your choice. It will make your alarm sound off a bit earlier, with a smoother and more quiet volume.

Screen Shot 2014-06-16 at 4.21.00 PM

Now, if your time to wake up comes and you still can’t manage to get up, you can set snooze limitations. For example, you can force the app to not allow snoozes after a certain time. You can choose to have your phone blast you out of bed like a tsunami alarm, too, but who likes that?

If those were not enough features, you will definitely be surprised by the others. You can choose certain days’ alarms to ring earlier (or later), there are day/night modes that change the color palates and brightness, Wake Challenges make it harder to snooze or turn off your alarm and there is also the flip-to-snooze feature. You can also be woken up to awesome tunes, just in case you don’t like the traditional sounds.

My personal favorite is that it also comes with a flashlight! It literally turns your smartphone’s flash into a flashlight for using in the dark. And now for the absolute deal maker – the app is FREE!

Timely hasn’t seen this much competition, and we have high hopes for Life Time Alarm Clock. Go get it straight from the Google Play Store and give it a try!

Moto G With 4G LTE And Expandable Memory Available For $219

Moto-G-Google-Play-Edition-1

Good phones with a reasonable price are hard to come by, especially if you want a phone with 4G LTE and expandable memory. If you’re on the hunt for such a device Motorola has got you covered. The Motorola Moto G 4G LTE has just been launched and you can purchase the device directly from Motorola’s website. Just like the regular Moto G, you get all of the same specs such as the 4.5″ 720p display, Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB of RAM, and a 5 MP rear camera. So what makes this device different from the Moto G? The Moto G 4G has a microSD card slot, not to mention the 4G LTE thats in the name. Having expandable memory on board is a really nifty feature being that the device comes with either 8/16GB of native storage. As well as the microSD slot, 4G LTE has been added to the device for much faster service.

Motorola says that the Moto G 4G will be available on all carriers in more than 40 countries worldwide. With that being said, it’s expected that the LTE band selection will be rather wide. Having such a wide selection sounds like a battery drainer, but with Qualcomms multi band LTE modems, battery consumption will be minimal. That aspect is really important for a 4G handset since 4G uses a lot of power to quickly load up web pages or to simply fetch some emails and notifications.

Now pricing, the device alone without a contract will only cost you $219. The Moto G 4G will come in two different colors which are black and white. If those colors sound boring to you, Motorola has accessories available to liven things up a bit; they can be found on their site. These accessories include different cases in various colors with a starting price of $14.95. If your interest on the Moto G 4G is building up, you can head on over to Motorola’s website and purchase it directly from them. If not, you can still scoop up the Moto G which is still being sold for $179. Both phones are of reasonable prices and sit snug in the value lane.
